  • Windows 2000 Question...

    #1
how can i change a single folder's Icon?
i want to givecustomized icons to allmy client folders on my computer thats running windows 2000. instead of just having a folder icon, i want it to be their company logo so i can browse thru my files more visually, than having to read each folder Name....
on my mac at home i just copy any image and hit paste onto an icon, and bingo...but it doesn't seem to work that way on windows 2000...

anyone know? (i would rather not have to install an app, any registry tricks?)

Create a shortcut to the folder on the desktop.
While it's still called 'shortcut to' you can right click on it and go to properties and change the icon.
Then rename the shortcut whatever you want.
