I'm on CS6 (not cloud) at work and I can still open old Pagemaker files. They aren't pretty, but it works.

You will be able to open all your CS2 files. Just be wary.

You might have trouble going from Illustrator CS2 to CS6. If you have any clipping paths in images placed in Illustrator that aren't...

I would look out for changes in text flow, effects being dropped, things like rounded corners going screwy when opening in CS6, the largest jump I've done is an indd created in CS3 opened with CS6. Plus...

In theory it should still work; however I might recommend double checking with Adobe just to be save.

Happy Birthday KitchWitch! I found a nice Faire cake to share. Have a great year!

This post is brought to you by the letter E and the number 9. Those are the buttons I push to get a Twix out of the candy machine.

Thank you everyone! Those cakes are amazing!! So far the birthday has been stealthy, I'm waiting to see if my husband remembers. (It's not a trap, I'm just curious. He gave me a gift a couple of weeks ago, so he feels he's in the clear.) And I do the birthday announcements at work, so I never do my own (seems too self-serving). Usually someone figures it out and does something... loud. Sometimes scary.

Now if you'll excuse me a moment, two new interns just came in wearing competing colognes and I have to go faint from lack of oxygen... b*stards...

A most happy birthday KitchWitch. I don't really know your enthusiasms and I'm not sure what the little gingerbread monster is, and it's not that easy to Google plastic lawn flamingoes in witches' hats, so I have only textual best wishes to offer you. Have a good one.

I appreciate it Nobert, thank you. I'm all over the map in terms of likes and on birthdays I'm easy to please like a seven year old with a new Barbie and a curling iron.

Domo Kun - yeah, I had to look him up. I just like the screamy face. I had no idea what it was about until recently. If I remember right it's a mascot for a Japanese company that was used in commercials, and was so popular it got its own TV show. I think that was it.
