    • Hi, Geekazoid! Welcome to GDF. You'll want to read the forum FAQs so you know all the in-jokes (we offer weekly and monthly tuition in the latest; the oldest in-jokes are understood only by the ur-deities) and will know your bacon from your pancake. Remember, no contests, no pricing, and no Photoshop logos -- always use MS Paint for those.

Shrimp is a good one too. we were given updates via Baby Bulletin each week to say what size he/she was at the time...so many odd fruits and veggies.
Since he was born he's been called Monkey. His baby shower theme was monkeys and it just stuck. Plus when people see his name they get confused and don't know how to pronounce it (spelled Conaire instead of Conner). Think back to Rain Man... "He's ar-tistic?"

And it cracks me up that my husband is now a monkey's uncle.

          • Luke's room has large vinyl monkeys swinging and holding the letters of his name. He has a tiny monkey vinyl by the window. 3-4 monkey paintings, monkey blanket, many monkey stuffed animals. (he HAS to go to bed with his monkey blanket and 3 monkeys, Mommy Daddy and Baby Monkey.)

            Monkey's Uncle is funny.

            • @RKK: *equine curtsey* It's a revival of the unicorn look that I missed during the Audi avatar theme last year. Needless to say, I can't wait to see your St. Patrick's avatar.

I came on this morning after being away from the forum for over a week and was so confused. Seriously took me more than one post by "bob" to figure out it was Broacher.
Darn new names to get used to. *sigh*

But seriously, that graphic was super helpful!

Typos are very important to all written form. It gives the reader something to look for so they aren't distracted by the total lack of content in your writing.

This post is brought to you by the letter E and the number 9. Those are the buttons I push to get a Twix out of the candy machine.
