    Yeah, that's right...THEY F**KING SUCK!!!

    I've had print driver issues up my ass....compatibility problems, stability and reliability problems.

    The other day I ran job, 350 run, 12 pages b&w, 11X17 2 sided on our Xerox DC-490. Do you think I could get that motherf**ker to collate, even AFTER I checked the box????

    Oh yeah, it worked, finally, after 3 F**KING TIMES!!!


    Then, our imagesetter has decided to go poo-poo on me. Normally it runs at 2400 dpi....but now it seems I'm having issues with the driver, and every other job comes out at 1200dpi...FOR NO F**KING REASON!!!

    F**K YOU OS 10!!!

    And thank you at the same time, since you're giving me a constant source of motivation to become an electrician.

    sorry to hear that Magnus. I tend to think it's a combination of Quark not playing right with OS X which in turn is causing problems with Xerox. Have you called Quark and/or Mac on this deal?

          Hey Magnus - got another computer you can go to? I have almost the identical problem. One of my computers does NOT want to play ball with the xerox, but the other machine humps it's leg. Identical O.S.'s, drivers, software, everything...

                  What do you mean key? Like another mac? Because honestly, not to start another discussion, the PC works fine.

                  I have all the updated drivers (except for the imagesetter) for our xerox stuff....no idea why it likes putting the axe to me.

You don't even know which xerox my mac is connected to - or my pc's. Nothing to do with any of that. Goddamnit.

                            we have the same problems here with our pcs and our hp8500.... it won't collate at all, even the hp printer guy can't figure it out....
