for those professional designers out there:

    1. what have been the most successful ways you have found creative employment?
    2. how did you find your current job?
    3. what would you advise recent BFA graduates do to find design work?

    1. Online is great because you can enter keywords and sending your CV is instant.
    2. Newspaper job search listing (why wasn't this an option in the poll?)
    3. All of the options on the poll including the newspaper.

      3. My best advice is to ask this question before you graduate.

Buda's right, your poll is incomplete. Check out Morea's listings in the FAQ or New User thread to find job search options.

Does your school have a placement service?
Did you make any contacts during your internships?

I posted my resume on my school's website. By doing so, I was automatically entered in a drawing to win a free Ipod. I still dont have an Ipod but the place Im working at now saw my resume and I got the job. So they found me

All of the above. Do what ever you can short of slamming peoples mousehands in car doors.

              3. depends on several factors!... experience, work ethic, productivity, realizing the real-world design request arent the same as college required.
