        great list, Cat. I've heard that Designers in Handcuffs: How to Create Great Graphics When Time, Materials and Money Are Tight (by Pat Matson Knapp) is quite good. I have not read it yet, though.

            This was one of the first design books I bought in the first year of design school! Now I see that Jeff Fisher contributed in it. Cool
            It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?" Ė Winnie the Pooh

                    I have 4 kids, two jobs and only 7 days in a week... so my recommended list is short!

                          I can't believe there is no referance to the great Tom Peters!!! His book Design Essentials is great for the marketing side of Graphic Design....wow, I sound like a pr doing a plug....ha. He's pretty inspiring. I love his "Rants". He acknowledges the past and the present and that we need to move forward and listen to those in the art world. He's got my vote.

                              This one isnt really a DESIGN book persay but it has helped with efficiency quite a bit.
