Tell me your postcard success story, love to hear your experiences.
Did you mail them yourself or had an agency send them out.

With addressed or non-addressed mailing list/

Well ... I drove to the post office ... bought some stamps and dropped them in the box ... after licking and applying the stamps of course. I consider that a success

    .... sorry ... couldn't resist

Red, How did the stamps taste? Never mind.
I bet you had a mailing list then. I wonder if postcards can be run through printer for printing addresses or did you use lables?

for the last 2 years on groundhog day i sent out postcards to my customers this year i sent out the same card (leftovers) but only to new customers so no one got it twice. It is the only postcard i've ever done but i had several calls just to say they got it & happy g-hog day. I sold at least 5 jobs for postcards from it & had other print orders. i should do another post card instead of hanging out here so much. If you'd like to see the progress of the card go check out this old thread.

i also put added something to the back that said "February is national take a graphic designer to lunch month" I was treated 2 or 3 times both years that these went out. that alone payed for the cost of the cards & postage.

Great idea, did you put these in an envelop and mail them, if not how did you write their addresses, printed them with sticker or hand written?
