I just finished my two year course in graphic design ( i know two years isn't nearly long enough), i was just looking for any hints that you might have to throw at me to help me out. I dont really know what particular area of graphic design i want to get into, ( maybe it's just too early to know since i'm just getting started?) so if you have any hints or advice i'd really love to hear from you. thanks

    Sara,

2 years if plenty long...trust me. Don't waste your time in school. Try hard to get an entry level job. Do anything and everything you can in the field. At this point if you get offered $7/hr to change out names in business cards...TAKE IT! Watch... a lot of people will back me up on this. Getting into the field is the hardest part of all (staying in is no cake walk either). If you can get an internship...working for free... DO IT! You have to get some real world experience. that is what most employers seek. also stay strong... people will be mean. you will ger discouraged... but move onto the next and don't dwell on things.
