    This was just released by Google two days ago. It is thier new IM service based on the Jabber protocol. So you can actually talk using a microphone to other people for free. All you need is the program and a GMail account and compatible service. It's compatible with iChat, GAIM, Trillian, Adium, and Psi.

                Ok it's great to get this news...1 problem though if I download this. Who the heck will I talk to, none of my friends have it!! LOL!

                    Yeah, if only it were that easy. I have been trying for years to get everyone on the same system bc it's just easier. The last thing, most of my friends want to do is download something else to install on their computer to talk to ONE of their friends.

                    Hopefully it will catch on and I'll find friends who have moved to it by themselves. In the mean time...I'll stick to my Yahoo.

                      yeah i feel the same way but... i have it downloaded & installed if & when anyone i know joins the 21st century

                        Yeah, I will be doing the same. Google is just poppin' off some really sweet stuff lately and really has to have other companies like Yahoo and MS wondering what will be next. I read an article a while back in Fortune about MS and Google. It was about how much of a slide MS is taking because Google keeps stepping up to the plate and delivering. Obviously it would take a hell of a lot to sink MS but they have to be concerned.

                                This really isn't doing anything for me. In my opinion, the pencil thing is over done. I've joined this forum two weeks ago, and in the time I think I've seen four logos with a pencil in them....

                                Ok, clean slate.

                                Not terribly keen on this logo. The look is very heavy and cramped, but going by the kind of work your company does – movie posters, I guess these are generally heavy...
