    As a general rule, whats included and what do you up sell in a project?
    • SEO optimized images and text?
    • Speed & Performance (caching)
    • Backups & Maintenance
    • Paid plugins & themes
    • Forms (email, subscription)
    • Social media (buffer, IFTT)
    • Analytics insights
    • SEO (Yoast, Webmaster, listings)
    • Future impliments: AMP...
    • Security (Firewall, Antivirus, 2FA, htaccess, SSL)
    • Anything else...

    The main thing is User Experience. As per google said "You just create an good website, Don't think more about rank"

    It means not that you have to ignore all other factors but the user experience placed first in the list.

      I guess my question would be why wouldn't you include the things the client needs in your proposal on the entire job as THE QUOTE on the entire job. For instance it seems rather silly to include forms and social media if the client does not need them. But if there is something a client does want or desire, it is not an upsell, it is simply a part of the project.

      It would also be rather unprofessional of you as a website designer not to discuss SEO or Security even if the client doesn't ask for it. You are supposed to be the professional. Items such as those would not be an upsell. They could actually be essential.

      It's all project related. No boilerplates available.
