    printing folder contents...

Okay...on the old OS (9) you could "print window" which was great for sending along to the printer with the folder contents of a job.

On the new OS 10 I haven't been able to do it.

Although...a few weeks ago I found something in the Mac Help Viewer that printed just the folder names but now I can't remember what I did to do it.

Anyone have any help or ideas??

Typically I just do screen captures...but I've got a HUGE directory with hundreds of folders, so this could take all day to screen capture and splice together all of the folders.

    Thanks!

Print Window, it's free and can be found here or Print Finder here

Yeah, it's a bummer that OS X doesn't accommodate that, hopefully they'll put it back at some point. Here are a couple of things you can try:

There's a shareware program called Print Window for OSX.

There's also an Apple Script you can run that'll do it. It came with the default install of the OS. I've included a screenshot:

Does Grab print the whole contents, or just what you can see on screen? The apps above print the whole directory even if there's thousands of names in there.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! While this 'Print Window' download is not as nice as the old print window in OS9, it's definately a big help!

I appreciate the quick responses everyone...you saved my day!

            Thanks!
