  • DESIGN CHALLENGE for week of 8-14-06

    #1
Thanks to all that tried their hand at the blog header last week! Great entries. My mind is on dogs as of late with our new puppy Rico and EC came through with a great suggestion for this weeks challenge which fit right in.

There is no voting or prizes unless you reward yourself, which you should, and often! Have fun and flex those creative muscles!

    THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE:

Let's try our hand at another package design. The product is a dog treat called "YUMMIE DRUMMIES" and the company that makes it is "Hound-A-Bout Bakery." They want a fun "jumps off the shelf" package design. Product will be sold in a resealable plastic stand up pouch (link to example). They liked the idea of a small clear window on the bottom half of the package to see the product.

    Here's the specs:
size: 72 dpi, 6 inches x 6 inches (this is a fictional size just for design challenge purpose)
    text to include:
"YUMMIE DRUMMIES", "Hound-A-Bout Bakery" and anything else you deem appropriate
    graphics: whatever you want.

Here's a picture of the Yummie Drummies:

    HAVE FUN!

                                Buda edited it for you.

Like the forum FAQ says, you have a very limited amount of time to edit your posts, 15 minutes to an hour, depending on when the servers cycle.
