I haven't heard the client's side of the story, but just taking what you've written at face value, you're dealing with a big-time deadbeat and a thief. Getting this person to voluntarily hand over payment...

  • Apologies

Sorry if I've been sounding like a bitch in my answers and crits. I'm only trying to help honest!!!

Tell me to back down if you think I'm being mean. I can say nice things too.
It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?" Winnie the Pooh

As long as someone is being professional in their replies and not being critical to hurt, only to help I don't think you have anything to apologize for

There is a difference between harsh and critical. If you only speak the truth, then there are no apologizes. If you speak the truth but go overboard because of personal feelings, then you need to set yourself straight. Either way, its good you're aware of your own behavior and I'm sure whomever is supposed to be reading this has taken your words to heart.

a good crit is honest... and as long as you're making valid points without "intent to be obnoxious" you should be just fine.
