  • Academic versions

    #1
I'm just starting to learn graphic design and I'm considering buying Creative Suite Premium 2 academic version. It says on the seller's website that it's not OK to use academic version for commercial purposes. Is there any way to upgrade that software if I decide to use it for business in the future? Or will I have to buy non-academic version for full price? Thanks for your help.

From what I have read on adobe and this forum it is ok to use the academic version for commercial purposes but, only if you are able to purchase.

tZ, what I've read is quite the opposite. That the student (academic) version of the software is not meant to be used for commercial purposes.

Yeah, that's right - Educational versions of the Suite are only for learning or teaching purposes. You can't use it for any commerical profit.

I'm pretty sure you can upgrade to the full retail version, though. Especially if you want to upgrade to a newer version.

That's actually pretty good. Not an easy breed to draw at all. I have to say I am definitely impressed by your steadfastness to keep learning

As a set, they look good together, but they should be strong on their on also. They remind me of the Penguin Classics book covers designed by Coralie Bickford-Smith.
