    Does anyone know of a clean, thinner, serif font where the serif isn't so large?

    I've looked on myfonts.com and haven't found what I'm looking for...

    Have you tried ITC Novarese? It has an elegant look to it, it's very thin and the serifs don't scream out at you.

            Is Symbol just about the smallest you can get a serif?

              Not sure Buda, but it is pretty delicate. By the way, ITC Symbol was also designed by Aldo Novarese. So maybe that'd be a good person to research if that's the kind of serif look you're going for.
