I don't think there's any French designers here, but I know there are some UK designers on this board - not sure about London specifically, but UK yes.

Definently visit the Design Museum in London (I know, you were asking to see studios, but this place is cool). The gift shop is to die for! Yes, I was parted with a hefty sum of my money there (darn exchange rate). Take the tube to the Tower Hill station, exit, and cross the Tower Bridge. Turn left on the other side and walk along the river--it'll pop up on your right soon after that.

i think you will be lucky to get into an agency to "have a look around" but like michelle says, the design museum is definately worth a look, also make sure your visit the "tate modern" its free and you can spend all day in there

hiya, im in london, however i think my boss wouldnt be too pleased if i brought some random people thru

While u're here, definitely check the design museum and also magma - really good design bookshop in soho if u wanted to browse local design mags/books etc.
