You are between a rock and a hard place on this one.

You have what sounds to be an uncooperative agency that may think your printing company has poached their client.

    Hopefully...

About 90% of my web design clients are in the landscaping business. About 80% of those came to me by recommendation from my old boss, who does vehicle wraps/decals and other stuff for them. I guess the...

I was thinking typical office hours, so 9am... should have been more clear.

The one man bands theory was exactly what I was thinking, the phone number on the side of their truck and their...

I wouldn't touch this project until they come up with a name. Unless you are being paid by the hour.
Names are pretty much the heaviest detail and agreeing to do a logo before the name is declared...

I recommend you take some courses in design - courses on design, not software how-to classes). Design requires a solid foundation in design principles; color, typography, layout, heirarch, etc. Copying...

  • Phone interview questions!? Got some? want some?

I have a phone interview coming up and after viewing a few of the threads on phone interviews, i decided this thread might be helpfull to me as well as others...

So anyone with phone interview experience - what examples can you give of typical P.I. questions?

    I'll start,

    1. You have 2 seperate jobs with conflicting deadlines and both clients are chomping at the bit to get there jobs done asap, how do you handle this situation?

    2. What relevant experience do you have to bring to this position, and how will this benefit our company as a whole?

I hate the two part questions, its a trick to catch you out, see if you answer both or just one!

Give an example of a time when a mistake was made and how you dealt with this situation?

I hate that one. I know everyone makes mistakes, but do I really want to be talking about it in an interview? No.
It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?" Winnie the Pooh

          Hi

I read some opinions in this topic. I do not agree above ideal. We can find out some articles at about.com by using Google search.

This thread is 4 years old. I'm going to close this as no new information is being added. If you would like to start a fresh thread on this topic Patricholier, you are most welcome.
