OK. i am sure there is a simple solution to this. i am trying to write text along the path of a closed circle. i can put the text on the inside or outside and i understand the starting and end points and center point and such. the thing i cant figure out how to do is write along the bottom of the circle with the text still in its proper verticle position. i dont want it upside down to to speak. is this possible with the text on path tool...or should i type out the text and ben/shape it. many thanks!

) but I do remember one time I had a non-exact oval image that I was wrapping type around and I didn't want to expand one of the paths so I duplicated the path in place (I use "duplicate" as a generic statement here as I don't know what application I was in. It would be either InDesign or Illustrator though) and set the bottom text path to align to the ascender of the text.
