did you check the links in the frequently discussed topics thread? I know that Jeff Fisher's list is pretty comprehensive and is broken down into categories... check out the book lists here:

    hope that helps some.

Despite it's title, most of this book is interview with 'old school' masters, and mostly copy writers:

Still, I think it's a great book at getting to the essence of great advertising: great copy married to great execution. I like how the big questions are framed by chapters (eg: when to use illustration instead of photos) and all done in the interview process. And the scope of the book is more international than many. FWIW.

Yum. I do love salmon sandwiches. The bakery near me do great smoked salmon bagels. It's not a bagel shop so they don't jack up the prices.

It won't stay this way ... but, they have to get all the bugs worked out first and then we will worry about cosmetic issues

"Alpha Channel" is a (somewhat dated) way for Photoshop to store mask information in an image file. In the days before support for native Photoshop transparency, it was the de facto method for...

Yes, I plan to have about 8-10 projects, many taking two pages (single side). the price break for the printer was at 25 sheets, so that's what I was going with. I haven't laid anything out yet as I've...
