I must settle into my workday by brewing coffee and checking all my news sources on the internet. I have to be currant and caffinated. Its an obsession.

          1. Ride motorbike to work, guaranteed way of waking up properly 50mph wind in the face!

          2. Make Cup of Tea.

          3. Chat for 15 mins about last night/weekend.

          4. Make Coffee.

          5. Check personal emails and respond.

          6. Shuffle through jobs and weed out the crap for the end of the day.

          7. Turn radio on and get started. Generally been at work an hour by this point.

Without one of these steps expect to see a mardy Spug!

It's funny, I only ever have coffee at work at the end of the day if I'm going out after work. Why oh why would I want to have heaps of energy while sitting in front of the computer? I want to be a docile as possible or I may run out of the building screaming and flailing about madly whilst high on caffeine.

Therefore I have a cup of tea in the morning. But only after I've checked all my emails. I'm a weird one huh?

                turn on computer
look over the "list to do"
pick which "to do" I want to work on
put on headphones and load kdwb through the net
                ignore the world

Every so often I have to talk to people, but I tend to make it a minimum as it interupts my concentration - a lot.

I can't be on the net for anything else but work until breaks - no private cubical for me.

music, coffee, plans for lunch/dinner/etc (I can work better through the day if I have a point in my day to look forward to)

When I first arrive I get the computer started up, eat my yogurt and breakfast bar, check my email, take care of anything über-urgent and then spend about 20 minutes in here. Then I start to work.

So far, a bit of browsing during breaks and the occasional poke in the GDF.

Other than that, I'm similar to Drazan. Throw on headphones from my iPod, get some tunes going, put up whatever I'm working on, and get to work. However, once I have to start taking calls for support, my concentration pretty much goes *ka-put* as I have at most maybe five minutes in between calls to think, and to remember where I was.

We'll see what it'll be in two weeks.

Judging by people's answers, I really should bring my own music to work. The stuff the play in the office is horrendous.
