  • newbie question - what does pp mean?

I'm an amateur graphic designer and I was wonder what pp means with regards to a brochure.

Say someone asked for an A4 20pp + 4pp cover. What does it mean?

Does it mean 20 pages double sided, and what about the cover?

    Thanks

So "printed pages" meaning front and back?

        Yes.

So a double sided sheet is 2pp.
It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?" Winnie the Pooh

The color balance is off on the two right side characters in the Hannibal poster. It looks like you tried darkening the images with a curves adjustment which introduced a lot of noise and turned them...

Four-color process will give you a richer-looking print than the flat and sometimes lifeless look of a B&W halftone. As pointed out, though, even the slightest variation in ink densities will noticeably...

This is nice but If it's background will be white then it's looks more attractive I think.

          Hi!

I like the second image -- but I'd get rid of her ear, it's not necessary and kind of distracting. And I'd pull the green overlay all the way up, her hairline at the top also draws the...
