      Welcome to the forum, Dreamz.

When you have a moment, please have a look at these important threads posted here. They will explain a lot about how the forum runs, from the rules and regulations to frequently discussed topics to the background on some of our lingo and inside jokes.

Four-color uses the inks Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black to simulate all of the other colors. If you look at the Sunday color comics with a magnifying glass, you'll see a pattern of dots using those four colors.

Yes, well a report. I want to be a graphic designer when I get older and I am doing a report on the career. I understand photoshop and illustrator, and I really haven't talked about indesign yet. I was looking at job requirements for graphic artist and that's when I saw, needs thorough knowledge of 4 color production, so I had always thought that was more of a printing process rather than something a graphic artist uses? I'm confused.

Graphic artist? Or graphic designer. Print designer or Web designer?

Graphic designers tend to print things sooner or later. Printers for the most part use CMYK inks. You have to know how and when to use them.
                And when not to.
Not every print process is CMYK.
Not every CMYK printer wants CMYK imagery.

I don't think the picture frame is working. I had to read your description to work out what the shape was. If the runner silhouette was somewhere else in the design I might recognise the shape better.
