    Today, after a relaxing four-day weekend, I spent my time playing short-order designer.

    I saw this article early in the day, snickered, but didn't get to read it until just now. It perfectly reflects the day I had today, and the day I expect tomorrow.

          My first design job was something like that.

            This is my job about 65% of the time... a short order cook who needs to just get stuff done. It sucks. But that 35% of the time on good stuff is really great.
            At the end of the day though I know that the 65% of short order crap is what pays my wage. So I guess you just get used to it.
