  • Exhibit A 'The Fonts'

    #1
    Hi guys
So I'm involed in a project with a friend who's a poet. He approached me wanting to make a book which married images and poetry. Now, some of the fonts that are to be used have come from free font websites and I know although they say free, the creator of the font likes to (and has a right I spose) tobe mentioned in work. Now the question I would like to pose your honour(s)!is:- Will it be enough and will I be covered if I credit them on a credits page within the book? Do I even need to credit anyone because there are so many sites offering the same font that have been apparently authored by different people?

    Thnx
    Quin

I'm no expert on this but I would say if you had a 'small print' page crediting those chumps you should be ok... although anyone can sue anyone at anytime for anything they want.

    Does that help?
