The other day, I was browsing my local Barns & Noble, and I found a book on Photoshop Tennis, and had never heard of it before. In it, the author matched up 10 designers against another 10 designers, resulting in 10 PS Tennis matches. One person would start out with a document of a predetermined size and rez, and would FTP it to his opponent who would have one hour to manipulate/re-work/embellish, and return the 'volley'. This would go on for ten rounds with no winner or loser and no real object except to learn from the techniques/thought processes of others. It was the coolest thing to me.
