Your point of view and how to make it better

Hello,

I'm in high school (Graphic design and multimedia) and new to all this.
My view of graphic design is "not that good."
So we have assignment about stilering an object (can't find the english word, but you will notice what I mean when you see the picture.)

Now my question is what can I change to make it better? Or should I start over. Just be honest. It's only a part of the assignment.
