I'm a graphic design student at Oklahoma State University. I am an active poster in a few guitar-oriented forums, and I look forward to learning with and from you all.
I've been tasked with designing a site about architect Rem Koolhaas. The assignment is our introduction to coding, so its not going to be very complex.
I'm wondering if anyone here has read his essay "Junkspace". I'm interested in hearing some feedback about it from a graphic design perspective. It was an interesting and frustrating read full of abstract ideas of what Koolhaas calls junkspace, but no solid definition.
This really doesn't have much to do with the project aside from trying to understand some of his ideology, and perhaps seeing it applied to an arm of design I am more familiar with.
