  • Best Resources for Beautiful Typography Inspiration?

    #1
Wondering what your guys' favorite resources (websites, books, projects, etc) are for typography inspiration? It's really an area I need to work on.

    Would appreciate any input!
    Thanks!

I love this book, and really anything by this lady.
    http://www.amazon.ca/Typography-Esse...8907464&sr=8-5

It's somewhat basic, but it's got some good examples and is just so pretty.

Bladez and I had the pleasure of meeting Ina Saltz a couple years ago at a conference and hearing her speak. I gotta tell you this lady knows her stuff and she's super nice plus has a sense of humor (essential when talking about design rules for 2 hours, lol).

It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?" – Winnie the Pooh

I just like how user friendly Pinterest is. I used to save images to a folder on my computer but now I just Pinterest for all that.

When you say typography, are you looking more for hand lettered type stuff, layouts using computer fonts, or both?

I guess just typography in general. So both hand lettered type and vector/computer fonts.
Just good composition, layout, originality, etc...just stuff for motivation.

I can't connect to any of the links in this thread with either Firefox or Chrome. Very strange and I really wanted to see the books!

I searched the first one by author, but the other one I'm not sure
