  • Do you have a good work-life balance?!

    #1
Hey! I need some help with a project I'm doing at university
(BA Graphic design . It's about work-life balance and juggling the two. I need to collect data so would really appreciate it if anyone could fill in my survey
    here:

    http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/WCL86D8

Anyone can do it, I just need an insight into a designers life and what it's like to juggle work and play. I will be visualising the data I collect.

Thanks to anyone who completes it!!

Maybe my wife should answer this survey as well as me. I'm sure she would answer things a little differently...

Hi RGB and welcome to GDF!

We ask that all new members take a few minutes read through important threads here and here.
These will explain our rules, answer frequently asked questions and explain some of the long running jokes you'll run into.

        Enjoy your stay.

This is not a reliable poll. This weekend I did nothing. But most weekends i'm working on something. You can't base someone's or group of people's habits on one weekend.

            No, I don't.
This post is brought to you by the letter E and the number 9. Those are the buttons I push to get a Twix out of the candy machine.

My work/life balance is pretty simple. 8 hours at work, 16 hours home/elsewhere.

I think it's fine. If everyone answers based on the previous weekend, it should paint an average picture of what most people are doing.

Thanks for the responses! Its only a rough idea i need of what peoples work-life balance is like, it doesn't have to be accurate because i'll be designing using the data i collect as a rough guide, Anyone else willing to take my survey?!

Thanks for the responses! Anyone else fancy completing the survey before it gets closed?

I took it! The only thing the poll doesn't mention is "are you supposed to be working but find yourself procrastinating all weekend?" That's more where I'd fit!

I don't either. The two are sort of meshed together. My work is my life.
