    my problem is my printer (hp deskject 840c) couldn't print the colour same as they look on monitor, i use corel 11 & use default settings in colour management.... what is the trick to overcome this prob (may be this prob is very commen & discussed a lot over here but.... plzz )

    First of all, most consumer printers (especially inkjets) aren't very accurate in the first place. Secondly, what you see on your monitor is probably not very accurate either, unless you calibrate it regularly (which I highly recommend). Depending on how important the job is, you'll probably want to get a proof printed by a professional printer with precise equipment. Theoretically, if your screen is calibrated, and your print shop of choice is good, you won't have any problems...theoretically.

      what you see on the monitor is not always what prints out. Every brand and type of printer can be slightly different. you will have to calibrate your monitor to your printer. OS X has a built in calibrator but most people buy a calibrating software or even have a tech/pro come in and do it for them.

        Yeah..you won't ever have 100% on paper what you have on your monitor. Your monitor is in RGB and you are printing in CMYK.

          i don't know why but corels colors are always waaaaaaaaaaaaaay off when i print compaired to other apps...
