A client wants me to archive 4+ years worth of data, and do it NOW. There
are close to 15000 MB of material, scattered about on CDs and Hard Drives.
Anyone have any ideas on what to charge? (What would you do?) By the MB, by
    the hour, per CD?

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Appreciate it, thank you. What would you think charge per hour should be, based on your services? I currently charge 50 per hr for most services, but I'm thinkin hourly rate for this should be higher.

    Any thoughts?

Probably look at the whole thing and figure out how many days it's going to take to classify and organise the whole mess and bill according to how much I need to make over that time...

I just don't understand your reasoning for everything, especially on this latest card. Why the random shapes bleeding off the edge? Why is there so much space between your name and the "web, print,...

          Which Gerber software?
Next question, why not import from Adobe to Gerber. We use signwares often. For output. Rarely for design (though some things are far easier to do in sgnwares over Illustrator...)

I do not believe there is Blur to Halftone button in Illustrator.
Any time I want to do a vector halftone (with dots), I use Rasterbator (bad name, good program)
But maybe what you are wanting...

I'm not going to bother saying what's already been said, I agree with it. I would suggest showcasing one area of interest per poster.

Assuming it's to be displayed in hallways and/or within...

It's done by "hand". No plug-ins. No scripts. The designer uses their design skills to create ... um ... designs. Take a look at the video and links on this 2012 thread. All hand done from the...

Yeah, the hierarchy is an issue. The "ITD" and how it is rendered is more feint than the items surrounding it. The illustrations are nice, but unfortunately, not really important. I would not...

Thanks KitchWitch. I have read through most of the FAQ and rules stickeys. I'm going through the inside jokes now.

Hi Shug and welcome to the forum.

When you get settled, please take a few minutes to read through the sticky threads here. These will explain our rules, expectations for conduct and...
