I'm trying to submit an ad to a large magazine, and they are quite serious about getting it in TIF/IT P1 format. I've worked with 3 magazines and never used that. I looked it up on the internet and found out -what- it is, but my problem is, -how- do I make one? My ad is built in Illustrator using a Photoshop TIF background. If this is a common format, how come you can't create one with Adobe CS?
Please help me... someone knows how to make these files!
PS: This is from their specs:
Accepted File Formats:
CT/LW, TIFF/IT P1, DCS2, and PDF X1a (fonts must be embedded). If you have alternate file formats, please call the production manager. We cannot accept documents in their native application format, i.e. no Quark Xpress or Illustrator.
