call your local competition and find out what they charge. thats such a general question "Going rate for large format printing" we need more details then that.

are you talking banners, wall murals, tradeshow graphics, billboards...etc....

I know kinkos is like $18 a sq foot for poster printing.

Totally depends on the media that you want to print on as well, you might be looking at 10 bucks a foot for bond and 20 buck a foot for vinyl

Whatever the market will bear.
And it depends on who you are and how much you order.
Rates go down as quantity goes up.
Most wide format shops don't give out square foot pricing any more. It's a per job quote. Mostly to avoid competition calls as suggested by D-Frag. You could try a comparison cost on certain sized pieces. Just make sure your Caller ID is turned off...
