        The pantone formula guide that I have says:
        6 pts PANTONE Ref. Blue
        2 pts PANTONE VIOLET
        8 pts PANTONE Trans. Wt.

          no, i've got the CMYK levels already... MD had what i was looking for i think.

          Here is the situation;
          I'm trying to match the color of a CMYK background on a label to the color of the Bottle it is going. Problem is the Bottle color was made to match PMS 2728, and CMYK can't reproduce/replicate that vibrant of blue...
          so i am having the printer swap out the Magenta Ink Plate for another PMS ink, netting out a color that is closer to PMS 2728.

          anybody have any experience doing this? if so, how did you go about picking the correct color?

                "Can't they print it CMYK + spot color?"
                The CMYK background is already making the "Blue Hue" i am shooting for. If i could show it to you guys this CMYK Background, you whould think that it is Duotone cause it just looks Black and Blue. (i'm not doing duotone because of the Loss of Depth)
                adding a spot to all the CMYK artwork would make it way too dark/muddy

                "thats gonna be alot of work on their end"
                it shouldn't be too hard, just swap out the ink used on the Magenta Plate.

                  I'll be curious how it turns out and the solution when it gets figured out. Keep us posted.

                    Yum. I do love salmon sandwiches. The bakery near me do great smoked salmon bagels. It's not a bagel shop so they don't jack up the prices.

                    Today I had leftovers. Chorizo and...

                    It won't stay this way ... but, they have to get all the bugs worked out first and then we will worry about cosmetic issues

                    Yes, I plan to have about 8-10 projects, many taking two pages (single side). the price break for the printer was at 25 sheets, so that's what I was going with. I haven't laid anything out yet as I've...
