Sigh, the tinypic isn't working. I had to deprecate the image even more to show you. I couldn't just attach a new image so I had to make a new post, please forgive me.

    Uh so embarassing....

I can see your problem, but the gray just doesn't provide sufficient contrast to the rust-colored circle. Squint your eyes and the two just blend together. A color blind person would see almost no difference....

Looks like I was writing my post while you were posting your revision, which I think is much better.

If it were me, I would remove the faint type at the top that duplicates the smaller type....

Definitely get the deposit up front. Cash, check or credit card if you have the ability. A lot of clients like to pay by credit card so they don't have to pay out cash until that bill comes in....

  • Yo Print Gurus! What's the technical term?

For the phenomenon that occurs when trimming saddle stiched booklets - that the interior pages will have more trimmed off the outer edges due to the thickness of the paper - the more pages, the greater the excess trim at the interior pages.

We can't recall it right off hand - I told my colleague to make something up, like Multi-page die drift, since the guy he's trying to describe this to wont know what we're talking about anyway - but he's just gotta be right, so be a friend and give us the skinny!

Pretty sure that's the slug area. Usually at the bottom of the page....... yes it's not very interesting is it?
