You're finding out something a lot of people don't realize; that graphic design often involves much more than making pleasant looking graphics. Iin fact most of the time it entails the actual engineering...

Oh hey B! Thanks for the response, I eventually got it figured out. I don't know what brought me the 81.7, I forgot to multiply by 3.14. I got confused by the diameter symbol I guess, but I got it figured...

Where are you getting the 81.7mm figure? Are you thinking that the 80.3mm ± 1.5mm on the diagram should be the width of the label? If so, why are you thinking that? Do you want the label to wrap exactly...

First off, I just found this and know nothing about it, but thought it would be an interesting article to pass along.

    http://www.globalgraphics.com/xps/xps_wp.pdf

Microsoft is at war with everyone:
    origamiproject vs. ipod
unreleased super search engine vs Google

    and now XPS vs PDF

Ironically, the article is in pdf format.
You don't know what you don't know.

The real question is, what's wrong with PDF? My guess is the only reason MS is producing this XPS format is becasue 1) licensing PDF export capability is costly, 2) MS thrives on taking something that already works well (PDF) and breaking it or 3) MS wants to once again monopolize the business.

By making XPS free and part of windows we'll start seeing PDFs become "less standard" ... ugh.

Why does Microsoft suck? God I'd love to kick Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates square in the nuts.
