That sucks, I hope the people who purchased GDF realize their investment is slowly dying and that the longer they delay fixing the issue the less chance it has of recuperating.

    Hey,

Iím extremely new to prepress and I know maybe a touch of the basics. I hear a lot of you guys saying working at a print shop is one of the best things you can do for yourself as a designer.

I really want to get a good understanding for this stuff. I feel so lost on this forum sometimes when you guys talk about this stuff. Example spot colors and gamut are a coupleÖ. I feel I could learn so much more from this forum if I only new what these things meant.

Do you guys know any good books, or websites that can help me out?

    Thanks

You can learn a ton from this site. The library section features a pre-press dictionary.
