  • Want No Crops

    #1
Been fighting with this since Wednesday last week. Indesign CS3, PC, using an Onyx RIP, Designjet 5500. I have to manually tile this document. I can't figure out how to NOT have any crop marks or page info. To a PDF or my RIP I only want the image and it keeps getting resized to fit the page I set. I've been through the book, on the Adobe site and here. I'm not a complete noob. What am I missing?

Onyx disregards your RIP commands because of the PDF file override.
Any other file type you should be able to "crop" out your crop marks.
Try the job settings or preferences in Onyx.

Why don't you create a separate document for the order with details about order / date/ number of proofs and dates, and approval date. And send this document with the proof when needed.

I'm with the speak and meet consensus. I don't have a survey. For me meeting/speaking has always been more effective.

That being said, if the receipt of your questionnaire seems...

      Hmm. Good point.

Yes, I always tell them that I have a questionaire for them and they seem like it never bothers them. It's when they receive it that they seem to just "disappear."...
