  • Varnish weight

    #1
Please forgive this newbe question: Does adding a heavy varnish add any weight to a printing job? How much? I can't add more than 0.3 ounces to this job.

that's pretty tight. you're probably going to want to mock one up on the right paper (or pay your printer to do it), and see if there's any way they can give you an idea of whether or not it will add that much to it. i'm assuming it'll have to do with how heavy it's put on, but i can't imagine it adding too much weight to it.

YMMV, though. talk to your printer.

Yes it will add weight, but...
It depends on the size of the piece and how large the area of coverage is.
You will need to talk to your Printer to find out the exacts (or close approximates)...

      as mojo stated
