I'm located in New Jersey. I was speaking about the most common types of paper and weight. Like 80lb or 14pt card stock.

    Where are you located?

There are so many different types and weights of paper there is no real answer to this question.

As a designer, it is your job to know what papers to use...

I took a look, it wasn't extremely slow to load, but it wasn't quick either. This is probably one of the oddest websites I have been to, I don't really care for the use of a lightbox to display each section,...

IMHO It doesn't really make sense. What is "3 coat"? Metal spoon friendly...most cookware is metal spoon friendly, the metal spoon might not be friendly to it, but the cookware is not going...

The attach image thingy is borked. So what I do is upload my image to a photo hosting site like photobucket - then I paste the IMG tag/link directly into the body of my post.

  • RAL color library for Illustrator?

Is there a RAL color library for Illustrator?

Also, does anyone know if you can pad print using RAL colors?

Eugene your link is good for Illustrator 4 through CS1...

You have to ask the printer if they can mix RAL colors. If not, you may have to provide swatches to be converted to PMS or check with a spectrophotometer.

From the looks of it, you have to purchase the electronic RAL swatch library?

198 Euros at the link I gave you to RAL's site.
Is it worth it to you?
Assuming you can figure out the German descriptions for the Mac and Windows machines.
I'd check on the printer first... RAL doesn't seem to sell mixing inks like Pantone does...
We only get those numbers here for Powder Coating.
