Hi all,
I'm trying to make the big jump from Quark to InDesign, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to trap in InDesign. From what I've read, InDesign traps by reading the ink characteristics, which is different to how Quark works. You use the trap presets in InDesign to set the "rules" you want to trap with, and InDesign applies those rules to the entire page, which is different to Quark, where you have to manually trap each object on the page.
Can anyone tell me if I'm on the right track here?
And can anyone tell me what settings I should put on to my trap preset? And how does the Ink Manager menu affect all this?
Thanks!!
