Yeah thought about doing that at first but its for 1001 - 2001 numerically so no logic in doing it like that.
Opted for a simpler option that involves automatic numbering, only had to try the other...

That's interesting. I assume you live in America, B. I'm from India, and I've been to four different printers in the past year. All of them use CorelDRAW. Perhaps it's because CD is cheaper than the Adobe...

This is going to sound like I live in a cave by myself and never venture into the sunshine, but in my 30-plus years of working in this field, I've never personally encountered anyone who uses CorelDRAW,...

Thanks, Buda. So far I've used it to create a logo, business cards and various hotel menus. Everything gets done so much faster (I used to be a hardcore Photoshop guy). I'm going to get started with...

My impression has been that people eat at their desks because there is too much work to be done. I put in 9.5 hours today at my desk, and most other people were there just as long or longer. Luckily for...

  • 1/2" Trim? Full Bleed? Synonymous Terminology??? HELP!!!

    Hello:

Please, somebody help me, as I'm super stumped. Recently, I was asked to create a postcard with 1/2' Trim. It was kind of a weird test job. I remember my mentor, who was very much old school printer, used this term once, I think. I don't recalling it coming up again. I was in printing long enough to know that there are a variety of terms for the same thing. When this person was asking for 1/2' trim, were they asking for a full .125' Bleed. That's how I layed out the job, and I didn't hear any complaints, but that terminology has stumped me. Please, somebody, clarify this for me so I can get some sleep and stop thinking about this!!!!! :-)

    Thanks!!!

    matt
