Our shop recently upgraded from Mac OS 9.2 (using mostly QuarkXpress 5 for jobs) to Mac OS X (using mostly InDesign 2). Previously, when I sent a print job for separations to our ABDick DPM9810 for ripping, it would show the name of the job and color info; for example, two plates might be "BCSmithBros (K)" and "BCSmithBros (PMS 285)." That was from Quark. NOW, from Indesign, every job is titled "CIDInit" followed by the color info. Is this a print driver problem or an InDesign problem or a OS problem? How/where can I change the setting or whatever to get the file names instead of the generic "CIDInit"?? Thanks in advance.

As I understand, the 'TM' symbol is usually placed top-right.

I would set the file up how you normally would and let the prepress people at the shirt printer do what they need to do to print the file. They know what works best for their process.

I think it's cute. In terms of a proper crit, I have a couple of questions. Do you plan to print this out? By what method?

Thanks for your help. I was told for printing that blurs and transparency are best as halftones... I don't need it to be directly transferred from the blur to halftones.. but I would like it to somewhat...
