Hi, I am new to this forum, and have hope that You will give me some advise.
I am using OCE machine - Arizona 180, and here is the problem:
while I am turning it on, I am getting an error from machine which goes: paper stepper fail.
The manual gives me those informations about possible causes:
- Motor wired wrong
-Any motor has failed
-Any fan assembly failed or shorted
-Blowne F2, 8A fuse in Power supply PSB
-Defective connector
-Defective Driver Board
-Defective Encoder
-Deffective Stepper motor
I can understand what does it mean, however I am not sure at 100% if my understanding of those causes is correct ( I am from Poland and my language level is not this high). Therefor I am asking You to explain me more or less what does those possbile causes I've mentioned reffer to?
Guys from support, after 4h of checking the machine, told me that the problem might be or in Driver Board, or in Motor, however they were not sure. They advised me to buy an Driver Board (or motherboard - i don't remember exactly) which costs about 4,500 dollars, but they were not sure if it is correct part (they are mad or what?). So obviously I said "thank you" to them. Now I am seeking any solutions on my own...
Do You have any ideas?
I would be very pleased with any answares. You may also give me some info's about who to contact to, or on which forum should I post my problem.
You may e-mail me: kamil_m@midi.com.pl
Thanks for any fast help (I have tones of print to do, and machine is down)
