    http://www.amazon.com/Pocket-Pal-Gra...ction+handbook
    and
    http://www.amazon.com/Pocket-Ref-4th...cket+reference

      Pocket Pal?

I had no idea that little book was still published. I actually remember it from the late 1970s when it answered some of the novice questions I had at the time. I'm assuming the publisher has updated the sections on cutting rubylith, making veloxes and using ruling pens.

Love Pocket Pal. They keep updating it. There are a lot of terms there that some new designers don't know what they mean, it's still one of the best.

I've always had a side business doing work for various clients, but I've never bitten the bullet and taken the chance of doing it full-time. Honestly, I'm a little envious of you. Good luck!

Have you tried a web search for
Custom printed folder with stepped inserts?

I don't ever use them so I can't offer any advice on who to use.
