  • Suggestions of free deposit photos

    Hello

Do you have suggestions of free deposit photos to use in ads like facebook?

    freepix?
just be sure whatever you use has a license stating it can be used for commercial work. Free tends to be not so free when it comes to advertising usage.

What is a "deposit photo?" Depositing what, where and by whom?

Rita is posting from Portugal. Could be a language barrier.

        meant to type
        http://www.freepik.com/

That's the one I use when a co-worker needs some pretty picture for his kid's school project.

Just beware of the top line photos. Those link to paying sites. That's how they pay for the free stuff.
You'll also notice the top line photos are a heck of a lot better in terms of subject and composition. Just sayin...you get what you pay for.

Mind your licensing. Free is generally not for commercial use.

pixabay - I use that one too.
But neither of them for paying work. At least not yet. Haven't had a good image acquisition job in a long while. Could use one about now. It's kinda fun talking to people all over the world.

This is literally the best curated free picture site on the web. All of its photos are carefully selected from other websites with free photos, and I'm fairly certain upslash has dedicated photographers who just take amazing pictures for free.

While it won't replace a good subscription to a stock photography site, it will get you by until you can afford one!
