    I love this typeface:

I doubt I could get my work to spring the $300 for the complete set in order to get titling. Does anyone know of some good freeware or shareware replicas of this one?

Also, does anyone know of font resources that provide free and legal knockoffs of popular fonts? Thanks!

$22 bucks will get you Metro Black, which is very close in feel:

You can only go so far with free. Check this out -- http://fontsite.com/ this CD contains lots of "staple" knockoffs for cheap (caslon, bodini, new baskerville, etc. etc.)

thanks Urst and EC, these are both good resources. Metro is a nice substitute for nuetraface too, might just get it. Im wanting these more for personal use than anything else, so trying not to spend too much.

It was the first font I thought of when I saw your sample, and you can get just the individual weight. A great font to use by the way if you're trying to simulate the look and feel of stuff that was created in the WPA era. I see that feel also on a lot of old travel posters from that era.

I actually ended up going with RichCopy. It's free, only overwrites files that have been changed since last backup (quicker backups,) and doesn't compress or pack the files. My brother who is an IT tech...

Yep, I had a look at this forum on an iPad this morning and looked pretty good. Doesn't work with Tapatalk, but maybe we don't need it to.

Actually, not so bad for a beginner. The thing is, it's not only a matter of doing it "correctly;" it's one of those things that simply takes practice. It's no different than when you were new...

            I use Cobain Backup http://www.cobiansoft.com/index.htm

It's real easy to use and doesn't change your files in any way.

Aww, we had a bunny when I was a kid. I loved to trans it out by rubbing between its ears. We also had another rabbit. That rabbit was a bit more formidable. He chased horses....

Hi Weasel Puppy! We sometimes call our rabbit "Chubby Weasel".
