  • Annual Reports

    #1
Hey guys, I'm interested in pursuing a client for the sole purpose of designing an annual report and I'm in no rush, but I'd like to find a couple good books that could help me out. Any book ideas?

Also, I made a post on Flash uploaders and it got deleted. If it was in the wrong category, sorry. Can we not delete this one; Just move it to the right category if it's in the wrong place. Thanks!

Are you talking about THIS post?

You may need to adjust your display options. Go to User CP, Under "Settings & Options" click "Edit Options" and scroll down to "Thread Display Options," change the last option "Default Thread Age Cut Off" to something longer.

AH! shorry.. I wasn't upset about it, really. I help moderate a forum and know how much of a pain it can be for people to post in the wrong forums. It can screw the feng shui of the site. So, Annual Reports--

When I do an Amazon search I only get results for "Best of" type books... but I'd like a book that gives pointers and advice.

Not a problem. We just automatically shuffle to correct forums, and usually leave bread crumbs.

I'd try asking your favorite search engine about "annual report" and seeing what's posted online. My company has moved our "community benefit report" (we're a non-profit) to the web to save costs.

I'm definitely going to do that and plan to anyway, but I wouldn't mind some reading material in the john. Right now I'm reading Mastering CSS with Dreamweaver CS4 and I'm picking up some great tips and time savers.

Fair point. I was thinking I would have to replace the whole thing, but I certainly could keep some works and just swap out as needed.

            Hello people.
So I'm considering it to study graphics design. I consider myself very creative and open minded but i'm not sure if this is what I should do? I've just Matriculated last year and need...

In regards to style I think it looks...well messy. It reminds me of something you would get doing autotrace. Strange shapes curves etc. I personally would like more hair like shapes. Nice smooth tapering...

I still say go for the screwpost book. It may seem expensive, but its flexibility outweighs the extra cost, IMO. If it's out of date in 6 months, you can spend $2.60 per page to add to it or to replace...

OK, my odyssey for a new portfolio continues. I found a local print shop who will print double-sided one-offs for me on a digital press on 100# cover, satin finish for $2.60 per double-sided page. The...
