That sounds like a GREAT idea. On a calm night it would be cool to shoot out over the sea and get stars in the sky and off the water.

You'd have to drive out pretty far from here for that!! Although, you could go the other way and sail out to sea... it gets really dark out there. Of course, you'd need a boat, and a crew...

I wish I lived closer to a bigger city. I would love to be able to shoot both lights of the big city and a sky full of stars in one night without a whole lot of travel.

I bet. I live in a mega-troplis. Silence is ... errm, something that doesn't happen, pretty much ever. Not to mention a night sky dark enough to see that many stars ...

Hi guys, I'm a newbie who is looking into getting a plotter (print + cut) to do small car decals With Corel Draw (now have X5).
Do you recommend a specific machine that will allow me to integrate...

Im looking for books that give ideas to make great xmas/gift/greeting cards with coptic/uv varnishes or any other kind of goodies.

Nope, but I designed a varnished xmas card for our company this year. It has "tis the season" across the front in varnish and a pretty flowery texture in varnish on the back. Lots of white space.

I wouldn't call it astonishing, but it's a nice way to show off our new printer. (it does varnish as a 5th colour)
It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?" Winnie the Pooh

Well the file itself doesn't look that flash because the spot varnish is just in yellow. If I remember to get a photo of the final product though I will post it on here.
