B is spot on with this. Every HR Director I've spoken with hates designed resumes. Actually, even some Creative/Art directors hate them. They just want to be able to read it fast, and effectively. I'd...

I agree, but I'll also add that, depending on the company, jobs are often just as much about what the employee wants them to be. I don't think that I've ever had a design job that hasn't gradually morphed...

  • A1 x A3 Portfolio

    Evening all,

My first post here, and was wondering if I could use any of your expertise?

I'm currently looking for a portfolio that is A1 (841mm) in length and A3 in height (297mm). I have previously seen people with them before, but my constant searches on the web are unfortunately giving me nothing. Any help anybody could give me would by seriously appreciated!!

    Many thanks,

    Martin

Welcome to the forum Martincan. By the size you give I'm guessing you're not in the US, so I can't really help you. While you're waiting, please read these important threads posted here. They will explain a lot about how the forum runs, from the rules and regulations to frequently discussed topics to the background on some of our lingo and inside jokes.

    I hope you enjoy yourself!

We have quite a few UK members. I'm sure they'll be along after they get dug out from the snow.
